It's no new news... Blogging is a trend that many business owners and professionals participate in to share information, generate website clicks, and ultimately become an "Industry Leader" for sharing such valuable information.
Healthcare professionals, if you are looking to get started with a Blogging campaign, consider these four tips:
1.Use Industry- Relevant Keywords:
Think about some of the keywords or phrases that someone may enter into an online search to find your article. Be sure to use a few different variations of these keywords or keyword phrases to be sure that you are most effectively capturing the audience.
Use these keyword phrases, but don’t over-do it. Search engines, like Google, can sense when an article is over saturated with the same few words or phrases. Integrate them with a natural flow.
Be sure to use the keywords that matter in the title of the post. Yes, cute titles can be eye-catching and thought provocative, but titles that state what the article is about, with consideration to the relevant keywords will help search engines, line google, understand the information you wish to convey.
2.Length and Formatting Tips:
It is important to submit a blog of at least 300 words, too. This is important in the eyes of search engines like Google because it proves that the article is of some value; it’s fairly robust in content. As an alternate point of view, do not make your Blog post too long either… you may see some readers dropping off the page.
Use boldface for the words and phrases that matter most
Bullet points are a great tool in helping visually divide your blog post and make it easier to convey your points for the reader in less time.
3.Mention your website’s URL (A great way to generate ‘inbound links’):

Search engines, such as Google, tend to refer websites that others also refer. This proves that your website is a reliable source of information. 4. Use local keywords if appropriate
Is your business information, blog post, event, or article regionally-based? Then be sure to include the keywords that matter. This will help Google understand who the information is intended for. In addition, when you include regionally-based keywords, you but back extensively on competition for those important first page search results… and that matters a lot due to the fact that 77% of people searching on Google never click past the first page of a search result.
