Navigating Alzheimer's disease is a faith based site, for anyone caring for a loved one with dementia or some other life altering disease. We hold that human beings are more than just flesh and bone. God breathed into man a living soul-a spirit. It is comforting to know that God is capable of ministering to a person with Alzheimer's disease. In a 'still small voice' he whispers into the spirit of the person with whom we may have lost the ability to communicate. Jesus remains the Good Shepherd that cares for HIS sheep; perhaps particularly for those lambs who have forgotten their way home. He also steadies the caregiver's rocking boat. He that spoke to the wind and waves, speaks to those who are tossed about by the gusts and gale of uncertain change. Our NAVIGATOR charts paths through deep waters. To the one who is 'weary in well doing,' who has many miles to travel before they can rest-He carries us through the storm speaking to the soul-"Peace Be Still."
