Alzheimer's disease is not a normal part of aging. If you or someone you know is affected by Alzheimer's disease or dementia, it's time to learn the facts. This program provides information on detection, causes and risk factors, stages of the disease, treatment, and much more.
The Alzheimer's Association Connecticut Chapter is the primary source of information and support to the thousands of Connecticut residents dealing with the effects of Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia. With offices across the state in Norwalk, Norwich, New Milford, Hamden and our main office in Southington, we are able to offer our communities 24/7 multilingual Helpline support, Family Training Seminars, Care Consultation, Safe Return training, Support Groups and Educational programs for both healthcare professionals and caregivers. The Chapter has influenced Public Policy changes and has provided support to dementia research in the hope of finding a cure
To eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
