Celebrating 28 Years of Delivering Excellence and Changing Lives

The Caregiver Resource Center is proud to announce that this month; we are celebrating

our 28th year of service to the community.

In 1990, Linda Ziac had a vision of creating a place where seniors, people with special needs and their loved ones could turn for support, find answers to their questions, and engage trained professionals to help them navigate the often confusing and overwhelming healthcare maze.

The Healthcare Maze

Over the years, there have been remarkable strides made in the healthcare field. Unfortunately as healthcare becomes more comprehensive and complex, it can be difficult for a person to understand medical diagnoses; diagnostic tests; medical treatment options; and medications; along with insurance benefits, coverage and co-pays to name a few.

As more demands are being placed on medical professionals, patients are often left to seek knowledge and guidance from other sources, in order to make sound decisions for themselves and their loved ones.

All of this can be overwhelming, and have the potential to negatively impact a person’s health and safety; if there is a lack of understanding, and a clear plan to follow.

The Caregiver Resource Center

The Caregiver Resource Center’s role is to work with the client, their family and healthcare professionals to help assess, plan for and implement ways to allow for their greatest degree of health, safety, independence, and quality of life.

Care for seniors and people with special needs often requires a multi-disciplinary team approach that encompasses many aspects of life such as health and mental health, activities of daily living (ADLs), transportation, finances, social opportunities, and emotional well-being.

This process involves identifying a client’s abilities and needs, and helping to design a care plan (road map) that is composed of a spectrum of services, that best meets the unique needs of that particular client.

A Message from Linda Ziac

“I am very grateful to all the volunteers, professionals, care providers, organizations and  agencies who have partnered with us over the past 28 years, to help improve the quality of life for individuals and their loved ones.”
